About the artist

Kiln is an award-winning data visualisation and digital journalism studio. It was founded and is run by Duncan Clark, a journalist and author by background, and Robin Houston, a web developer and mathematician. The company produces interactive graphics, maps and documentaries that bring complex information to life. Based in London, Kiln works with news organisations, universities, think-tanks and national and global agencies including the Guardian, LSE, IIED, British Council and WHO.
