About the artist
Ingo Günther grew up in Germany and was educated in Cultural Anthropology and Sculpture and Media. He is a journalist and new media artist known for visualizing statistical information in installations and digital media. Since 1989, Günther has expanded the concept of the globe as a medium in both journalism and art.

Started in 1988, World Processor is an ongoing project by artist Ingo Günther. It consists of a series of globes that graphically describe data on political, economic, geographical, social, historical, environmental and technological issues from the time they were created.
